Trey Taylor is the Managing Director of Threadneedle, the Taylor Family Office. With a background in history, law, and advanced executive coursework at institutions including Oxford University, Kellogg, Berkeley, and Georgia Tech, he has built a career defined by strategy, focus, and growth. His early work at WebMD gave him deep experience in mergers and acquisitions, and since then he has participated in more than 100 M&A transactions, invested in over 300 startups, and advised venture funds, real estate syndicates and private equity firms on capital formation and deployment strategy. In 2020, he published A CEO Only Does Three Things, a widely praised handbook for leaders, and has since been a frequent keynote speaker and media contributor, known for challenging CEOs to sharpen their focus and do only what matters most.
